Dana Zambrano - Crochet Me CrayZ

 

Crochet Me CrayZ was started last year after the arrival of my 3rd child when I wanted to order customized hats for my children.  When someone was asking for a crazy (no pun intended) amount of money for what I thought were pretty simple hats, I was convinced I could do it myself.  So, I taught myself how to crochet and from there I haven't stopped teaching myself new techniques, experimenting with new materials, both conventional and unconventional, and growing my craft as well as my business.  Crocheting has become my passion and my "me time" after a hectic day with 3 small children.  I specialize in baby, children and adult clothing, accessories, and photo props,  and have begun to venture into infant toys and stuffed animals.  I also hope to soon start a line of therapy toys to be used for children, and the elderly, as I have seen the amazing leaps my son took in his own speech therapist office.
